For you SciFi freaks I mean groovyReaders out there who just can’t get enough of James Cameron’s latest blockbuster hit Avatar, Microsoft has a special gift for you.
For an unknown amount of time (possibly forever???) Microsoft has made available a new Windows 7 theme made up of several dramatic scenes from the movie. Here’s the download link: Windows 7 Avatar Theme Download
To install it, just click the download link above and click open. Once opened it should auto-install on your Windows 7 box. The Windows 7 Themes menu should open you will see it as a new theme you can enable or disable at any time.
Enjoy!

Hey I liked the avatar movie! I saw it at the Imax, the 3d was nice and didn’t hurt my eyes like normal 3d movies.

Yeah I know. I like it to. I just couldn’t imagine using the movie shots as a background…. almost like spiderman bed sheets :)

@Alexander – Avatar 2??? I had no idea they were already working on a sequel. I’m sure it can turn into a franchise and re-use a lot of the CPU cycles to work in a new movie so why not.
I just hope they don’t get stuck with a “Humans strike back” type thing. I would prefer to see a sequel that focuses more on local politics and how the nation rebuilds after the war with the humans. Should be interesting depending on what angle they go for!

Are you sure you aren’t talking about “The Last Airbender?”

That is the movie based on the animated series “Avatar” that was shown on Nickelodeon, I’ll admit – I’m not a fan of cartoons or Nickelodeon and it was “groovy.” It’s epic like old-school transformers used to be, or maybe the X-men cartoon that used to play in the morning before eating cereal and running off to school.
