Instagram Video Not Uploading: 7 Fixes

1. Check the Mobile Device’s Network Connection

As its name implies, Data Saver Mode limits loading videos if you’re connected to a cellular network. However, it could be interfering with your videos uploading to Instagram. No worries. It’s basic enough to turn off.
To disable data saver mode:
- Launch Instagram on your phone, select your profile button, and select the Menu button in the top right corner.
- Select Settings and privacy from the menu that appears.
- Search for Data and select Data usage and media quality.
- Toggle off the Use less cellular data option—this will ensure your mobile photos upload while on the go.
5. Disable High-Quality Video Uploads
If you have your videos set to upload in high quality, the uploading takes more time and may not happen at all. This is especially true on slow or shoddy data connections. High-quality video uploads can cause them not to load at all.
