This Weeks Popular Free iOS Apps And Games

New apps for iPhone, iPad and iPhone touch are released everyday. And it’s a daunting task to find what’s worth downloading. Here’s five of the best this week.

From past few weeks, we have been sharing with users popular new Android apps. And we definitely don’t want to leave out iOS users. This week’s list has more games than other apps, but they’re fun and addictive, and will provide hours of fun on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

Mercenary Ops

In Mercenary Ops, you’re playing the character of a mercenary. Your task is to complete missions as you take on infected creatures that are affected as a result of a biological crisis in Europe. This game is free and offers many different levels to complete, with in-app purchases too. As you complete levels, you will be able to upgrade your character with latest equipment so that you can complete harder levels.

24me

This productivity app is one of my personal favorites. It’s a quite useful and an easy to use task manager. I run it on my iPhone and use it daily. Its free, with a simple user interface that’s easy to understand even for a new user. All you have to do is create an account when you run the app for the first time and you’re good to go. You can mark items according to their priority, add financial statements (US only), link your friends, setup reminders.

Towers and Dungeons

Towers and Dungeons is a fun packed iOS game where you can either choose to create a tower that reaches the sky or go underground and build dungeons. Your task is to create the structure and help a little dragon find his home. The game has more than 40 different floors and hundreds of missions to complete. You can even compete with your friends, visit their towers and dungeons.

The Bowling Dead

I’ve played several bowling games, but this one is different with a Zombie Twist. The world is being overrun by undead zombies and you need to shoot them using your bowling skills. You have to defeat waves of zombies with weaponized bowling balls. The game consists of many levels that become more difficult as you progress with the game.

Street Fighter Vs Tekken Gauntlet

Everyone who plays games know about these two. These are fighting classics that every kid and even adults played. In Street Fighter vs Tekken Gauntlet, you must compete with other fighters and to knock them out before the timer reaches zero. You can select characters from Street Fight like Ryu, Ken as well as Tekken characters.
