Apple announced the iPhone 4S just a few hours ago. Big deal or not? We’ll know when we see it — but here are the specs.
Update 10/06/2011: Added Sprint to the iPhone 4 column, since Sprint will begin carrying the 8 GB iPhone 4 starting October 14.
Update 10/07/2011: I’m changing the iPhone 4S RAM to 512 MB, since my original source could have been incorrect. A confirmation will be made once a tear down is performed.

Hey Jordan, may I ask where you got your figures from? It seems the world is guessing the amount of RAM in this new A5 processer and nobody can be sure. Just wondering if you have a reliable source.

Kai, great question! I’m glad you asked because this made me take another look at this. My original source has now retracted this, therefore I’m changing the spec chart as well. We’ll update this if this proves to be something other than 512 MB.
Thanks for your help!
