Amazon Offering $2 Instant Video Credit via Facebook

Amazon is giving away more free shows. From now until May 29, 2012 you can get a $2 credit for sharing the deal on Facebook. The only catch is that this credit has to be used before May 29, 2012 or else it goes to waste.

Log into your Amazon account and visit the Facebook Share Amazon Video Promotion page. From there type your favorite movie or video into the box and then click Share & Claim.

Amazon will request basic permissions to your Facebook account, this is because Amazon on Facebook is considered an app. Click Go to App to continue.

Amazon will ask for additional information and control of your account. These are not required permissions, so you can just skip these rather than allowing them.

You’ll be taken back to the Amazon Video page and shown a confirmation of your $2 credit. Groovy!

If you want to check your promotional balance, this can be done from nearly any Amazon product page by clicking View Balance (it’s easy to find using Ctrl+F and doing a page search).

After you’ve received your credit you may want to head back to your Facebook account. If you don’t want Amazon tracking you on Facebook go to Account Settings >> Apps and remove the Amazon app from your account. You’ll still get to keep your credit.
