How to Manually Update Windows 10 Mobile Apps

If you learn about an app update for your device running Windows 10 Mobile, and it’st a must have, you don’t have to wait, you can manually update them.

We’ve been covering the evolution of Windows 10 Mobile for the past year, and we hope to see the final version roll out to Windows Phone 8.1 users soon. Windows 10 Mobile is already preinstalled on the Lumia 950 or 950XL. If you’re a Windows 10 Mobile Insider, then you also have one of the preview versions.

While the app situation on Windows Phone still needs some work, quality apps are still available. And just like with Windows Phone 8.1, they should update automatically by default. However, if you learn about an update that’s a must-have and don’t want to wait for it, you can manually get it.

Of course, you can update apps individually, too. Keep in mind that updates for apps like Microsoft Office can be quite large, so you might want to make sure that you connect to Wi-Fi before updating them so you don’t eat into your data plan too much.
