Make Chrome Your Default Browser in iOS [Jailbreak]

Note: You need to Jailbreak your iDevice to get Cydia and the BrowserChooser app. Here’s instructions on the easiest method I’ve found to jailbreak your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with Greenp0ison.

First, launch Cydia and tap Manage.

Launch Cydia_Manage

Then tap on Sources >> Edit.

Next tap the Add button and type: https://rpetri.ch/repo

Wait while the packages are downloaded, then tap Return to Cydia. Then under Sources, tap the RPetri.ch Repository you just added.

Now select BrowserChooser and install the feature.

After BrowserChooser has installed, go back into iOS. Tap Settings, then BrowserChooser. Tap Chrome to make it the default browser on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Here you can see I have other browsers installed too.

The groovy thing about BrowserChooser is you can select any browser you want to make your default.

Now any time you open a link from an email or document, Google Chrome opens by default instead of Safari. Groovy!
