Resizing the Keyboard on Your Android Device

Whether you make the Android keyboard larger or smaller, your selected size will reflect throughout your Android experience. Just remember that when you make the keyboard bigger, it uses more screen real estate.

So, you will need to do more scrolling while searching the web, for example. But the good news is you can always make it smaller or reset the keyboard’s size.

If you increase the size of the fonts, text, and icons on the Android screen, larger or not, you might want to make the keyboard bigger for a more effortless typing experience.
