What Is It?

Instead of using a guitar or a piano to make music, this app lets you add a petal to a lily pad. You get to adjust the sound each lily makes. The app doesn’t limit you to just one lily, you can make several and play them together. At least for me, I didn’t find it all that interesting at first, but after playing with it a little, it grew on me.

Once you make your creation, you can record it and then share it on social media or in the Lily app community. Browsing the community, I heard some sophisticated creations.

Who Is It Good For?

Since I’m not a musician, I don’t know how advanced you can get with the tones, but it’s fun. I’m the type of person who plays keys on a piano without knowing what they do. I will suggest this for any kid who likes banging on things to make noise. That’s, of course, kids of any age here.

Should You Download It?

The app takes up around 75MB. I doubt I’ll play with it, but I think it will be good to keep the kids occupied, so I’ll probably keep it around for them to mess with. If they don’t like it, I can always remove it.
