Hello and Welcome to groovyPost.com!
So who is MrGroove?
The answer is pretty simple. I’m a "Very" groovy Geek (geek, not a nerd… there is a difference) who loves technology. I’m one of those guys who LOVES to go to work and learn/read/work on geek stuff every day. Most days I just smile because I still can’t believe I get paid to do what I love. Pretty GROOVY huh!!!!
Why the Site?
Back in 2007 after answering the same questions about 100 times from various people, I decided I should start writing some of the answers down so I could just point. Additionally, when I started looking around to see what was already out there, what I saw was several technical forums and sites which had a lot of good data but… they were just a bit toooo Geeky (borderline Nerdy). Sure, if you understand phpBB or vBulletin, they made sense! But, for new computer users with a simple question or problem… no.
So, although my original mission with groovyPost.com is to build a Knowledge Base of commonly asked Questions and How-To Tutorials, my 2nd goal for the site is to keep thing VERY VERY clean, simple, and so easy to navigate and find things that my grand parents can become members of the community (and yours as well).
Can I Write How-To Articles for groovyPost.com?
Yes! In fact, I’m looking for help at the moment! Send me email at MrGroove@groovyPost.com and I’ll get you all setup!
Can I Advertise on groovyPost.com?
Depending on what you want to advertise YES! Shoot me an email and we can discuss.
Is groovyPost.com your full-time job?
Unfortunately groovyPost.com is just a hobby for me as it doesn’t pay the bills YET. My hope is one day I can devote all my time instead of just my free time. ![]()
So, far with 100 400+ readers and growing, I guess you could say things are going well THANKS TO ALL YOU GROOVY READERS!
