Just out of the box and cracked already? That glass back sure isn’t winning Apple any points. Android ftw! Droid x.. Evo 4.. and soon the Samsung Galaxy S (aka Epic 4G on sprint)

Dropped it while sliding into my pocket. Sad thing is my new case from SJ is going to arrive in probably just a few days……

I work for Radio Shack and sell a lot of phones, and waiting lists are very, very long! Very Breakable. I hope yours is covered by AppleCare!

Hitting the apple store tmow. From what I can see on Google however, it’s a $200 repair not covered by Apple Care. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!

MrGroove. Forget the phone, did you take those pictures? You should forget the tech stuff and get into photography! They look great

OUCH! Of course the pictures are mine! Took them all in my living room with my good ole Canon 7D (love that camera).

That really sucks, and so close to getting your new case! Totally bummer, did you cry? :P

Cry…. no. I can honestly say it was pure shock. I’d dropped by iPhone 3G about 200 times and MUCH harder. It was shock they surprise then…

Ouch … makes me glad my old WinMo phone is rubber on the back. Though I did bust the screen on my first one when a textbook knocked it off my computer … amazingly, T-Mo covered it on warranty. That’s service :) But it sure is tough living with a ciera 2007 phone in 2010 :P

But honestly…. It’s a phone right? Some might say that’s all you need. And I just might agree!

That’s right … and I still use Evernote, FB, Google/Bing maps, and Opera Mobile on it, so that covers the major mobile stuff, too…

Anyways… its time to stop being a clone for the Borg and to get a real techie phone, something with Android. iPhones are so 2005.

Now THAT’S the reason why you DON’T put glass on the back of a phone. And how much did you say it was? 200 $ just for the glass? Wow, I can replace my entire phone for 200$ perhaps!!!

    Omg dude. That sucks.

But its a great change to get a Samsung Galaxy S. Or did you have a Samsung Galaxy S next to the Iphone? Because the Samsung Galaxy S is so strong and such a big Iphone killer :-p it can kick Iphones in the butt. Big Time. So that the glass shatters.

      Nice Robert heheheh

I wonder if AppleCare supports the shattered by envy scenario. :)

    UPDATE

Apple sent me my new case and it’s a nice one. Good news is once I put the new Apple case on it you cannot even tell the phone is cracked. I’ve been using it now for about a month and I actually forget the back of the phone is shattered.

So all in all, I’m happy again. :)
