If Chrome has become your new favorite, why not also make it your default browser? You can set Chrome to be the default web browser for most Windows 7 applications. Likely, when you installed Chrome on your computer it asked if you would like to set it as the default, but if you missed that option it is never too late. Below we’ll look at the simple two-step instructions for setting Google Chrome as your default internet browser.
Step 1
In Google Chrome, Click the Wrench (settings) button located at the top-right corner of the window.
Step 2
On the Basics tab, Click the button that says Make Google Chrome my default browser.
Done!
Now Google Chrome is your default web browser! This means that whenever you Click a web link from a non-browser app it will automatically open the corresponding website in Chrome.
