There are situations when you need to change the date when a file was created in Windows. Here’s how to change the timestamp of a file.
Download the free utility Timestamp Modifier. It doesn’t require installation – you can run it from flash drive if needed. After downloading it, unzip the executable and you’re ready to go.
Launch the utility and select the file and / or folders you need to modify.
Click Change Timestamp then OK to confirm the change. That’s it!
This comes in handy if a system’s clock is set wrong or for business transactions.

Timestamp Modifier set of my antivirus program and I had to delete it immediately. Terrible recommendation.

Sorry to hear that, but it’s false positive (definitely not a virus). I can tell you that because, just to make sure, I re-scanned the file with Kaspersky Internet Security and ClamWin Portable and absolutely nothing showed up. Also, Softpedia, where it can be downloaded from, certifies it as clean.
