Facebook pages are a great way to engage fans of a brand, company, band or whatever else you may be involved in that needs promoting. Recently I noticed Facebook now allows you to pin a post to the top of your Facebook page. This is a great way to feature your best content to your fans and readers. Here’s a quick-tip on how to do it.
Before You Get Started
Remember, this only works for fan pages. It doesn’t work for timelines of personal Facebook accounts. Also, you’ll probably have to be at least a Content Creator in order to be able to do this – Facebook has a system of Admin Roles for pages.
Pin a Post to your Facebook Page
Login to Facebook and goto your Facebook Page. Find the post you want to pin and click the pencil icon on its top right side. From the drop-down menu, click Pin to Top.
It’s really that simple. The post will stay at the top of your page and will have a yellow ribbon on the top right side to show that it’s been pinned to your page.
I’ve noticed the post will not stay at the top forever. On my page it normally drops back down into the timeline after a week or so. Just repeat the process however to add it back to the top.

Hi and thank you. it sucks that I have to scroll all the way down to reach the post I posted two months ago to find and re-pin it. Is there a way to pin it forever or at least to find it quickly and easily to re-pin it?

Hopefully, Facebook will allow this for personal pages at some point.
