To make a call or text on your Android phone, here’s the best way: Just slide the contact name over.
Even avid Android enthusiasts miss this not-that-obvious UI convenience.
Just slide your finger over a contact from the to left or right. Now enter contacts through the contact app or by using your phone’s dialer and pressing the Contacts tab.

I don’t want to ruin your day but this tip only works with Samsung Android phones using their own Touchwiz UI, which is an additional graphic layer developed by Samsung upon the standard Android interface.
This feature is not available for stock Android, sadly.
While I’m at it, I might as well thank you all for the quality content you provide here on GroovyPost ;-)
