How To Add Videos to the Windows 7 Start Menu

If you use the Windows 7 Start Menu a lot, you’ve probably noticed that Pictures and Music links are listed, but not videos. Adding your Videos is easy, here’s how.

By default, the Windows 7 Start Menu provides links to get to your Pictures and Music folders, but not videos. If you use the Start menu a lot and would like fast access to your digital media, here’s how to add it.

Add Videos to Windows 7 Start Menu

Right click on the Start button in Windows 7 and select Properties.

Properties

Then click the Customize button on the Start Menu tab.

Customize

When the Customize Start Menu screen comes up, scroll down to Videos and select Display as Link and click OK.

Videos as a Link

That’s it! Now you’ll see Videos on the Start Menu. It’s nice to have access to all of your digital media folders from one spot.
