    Hey Josh,
You should really read (at least the first part) of Smashing Magazine’s “The Mobile Book.” I got my office to buy the book/e-book bundle and I read bits of it here and there. It’s definitely opening my perspective on the mobile market in global terms. I’m not presuming you should talk about global products, but I thought it was interesting to read about how Apple (iPhones) stand globally. We definitely have a certain bias living the USA. For example, it’s pretty clear to most people here that Nokia is ‘dead’ but actually it was the most popular european phone for a long time, and is declining, but still has the level of presence a Blackberry has here.

Ooooh, and PS, you should see if you can install Disqus comments in here so the show doesn’t stop playing when I submit a comment… haha

Hi Rob — thnx for the comment.

Actually I just turned off Disqus comments. It slowed down page loads by about… 30% and, after running it for about 6 month I was able to measure a drop in comments by about 500%….

needless to say, I won’t be turning Disqus on anytime soon. :)

@Rob Brogan, thanks for the tip. You’re so correct! We definitely have a major bias living in the US toward technology and even more so if you get caught in the silicon valley bubble…lol, then you almost have no idea what people in the US are even doing.

Rob! Hey thanks for coming by the ol’ groovy post here haha. That is interesting though about the global market. I’ll have to check that out!
