BLUETTI, the renewable energy company behind the $6.8 million crowdsourcing campaign for the AC200 solar power station, is at it again. It has announced its newest product, a portable and compact solar power station, the EB70. Weighing just 21.3 pounds, the EB70 includes a foldable handle design (yes, you can lift it with one hand), making it one of the most compact power stations in the rated output power 700W capacity line-up.

Here’s everything you need to know about the BLUETTI EB70, including ordering information and how you can save $100 at launch for a limited time.

What is the BLUETTI EB70?

BLUETTI EB70

With 716Wh, the EB70 uses ultra-durable and safe LiFePO4 battery cells that provide more than 2500 charging cycles. You can fast-charge the first 80% capacity using BLUETTI’s SP200 solar panel in just three hours.

The EB70 offers impressive specs, making it ideal for campers and anyone else who needs power in the great outdoors. It ships with four continuous 700W AC outlets with peak power up to 1400W, perfecting most daily appliances such as smartphones or tablets easily. The EB70 also includes two 100-watt USB-C PD3.0 ports for supported devices such as laptops.

Looking for more? You’ll also find a charging pad set on the top for wireless charging for modern electronics. The machine includes 12 outlets making it a great charging solution for phones to electric cookers, to mini space heaters.

On the EB70, you’ll find a 200W DC7909 Input (PV/AC), LCD Display, Wireless Charging Pad, LED Light, DC Power Switch, 100W USB-C Outlets x2, USB-A Outlets x2, DC5521 Outlets x2, 12V/10A Cig-lighter Outlet, AC Power Switch, and AC Outlets x4.

Recharging Options

For flexibility, BLUETTI offers various ways to recharge your EB70 seamlessly. With a traditional 200W wall outlet, it takes less than three hours to recharge. A vehicle recharge takes about the same time. With BLUETTI’s built-in and highly efficient MPPT control, you can fast-charge your EB70 in around 4.5 hours with a 200W solar power input for those committed to solar energy.

The EB70 can also receive a charge from a traditional gas-fired generator at up to 200 watts.

There are other points to keep in mind when considering the BLUETTI EB70. One is the included Pure Sine Wave inverter that has been designed to work well with electric appliances. There’s also the quiet, intelligent temperature cooling fan and impressive LED and SOS functions. Finally, note those 21 pounds measure just 12.6-by-8.5-by-8.7-inches, making it compact and highly portable.

Why a Lithium Power Station?

Gas-fired generators certainly get the job done. Unfortunately, these are heavy, bulky, and very noisy. By contrast, lithium power is considered one of the safest battery technologies globally, offering double the safety of traditional NCA or NCM batteries. Better still, they don’t emit dangerous toxic fumes. All this combines makes the EB70 perfect for various outdoor scenarios and locations.

For example, you can use an EB70 in both a cabin and on a boat. It also works great on a van. Looking to make a road trip? Yes, a lithium power station is an excellent choice for fishing, hunting, camping, or any other type of trip. You can also use it in your home during a short power outage to keep your favorite small accessories charged.

Price

The EB70 offers 716wh/800W for only $599. Both Jackery and Ecoflow offer similar products at the same price point. However, these only offer 518wh/500W and 576Wh/600W, respectively. For a limited time, you can save $100 off the cost of an EB70, making it just $499. All this makes the BLUETTI EB70 the best choice for its price range.

You can order an EB70 beginning on Friday, April 30. Orders are being accepted at BLUETTI’s all-new website, www.bluettipower.com. Each shipment comes with a 24-month warranty. The EB70 will be available in three colors, black, teal, and red.
