With the release of Windows 8 to developers today, we’re soon going to have access to review Windows 8 in-depth. For now, however, here’s a quick First Look at some of the new features you can expect in addition to the new Ribbon and Windows Explorer we’ve already talked about.

To me, Windows 8 looks very consumer(ish). not sure what it’s going to buy me at work. For home, yeah maybe but at work… I wouldn’t be the farm on it.

Well I think Windows 8 could be a big game changer on the tablet side but on the corporate desktop, it could just be that Microsoft may be a victim of their own success. Windows 7 is so good, Windows 8 will need to be compelling to get the corporate side and consumer side to upgrade. New PC’s is an easy one but existing… We will see what the compelling story is for non-tablets.
