Google Voice Calls in US and Canada Free Through 2013

Google announced yesterday that it would continue to offer free domestic calls from Gmail through next year inside the US and Canada.

Google announced yesterday that it will continue to offer free domestic calls for the US and Canada, from Gmail, throughout next year. According to the Gmail blog, the search giant has decided to expand the offer through all of 2013.


Here’s the short and sweet message Google posted yesterday on its blog:

As the holiday season approaches, we’re happy to announce that we’ve extended free domestic calls within the US and Canada for 2012.

This is our way of helping you connect with friends and family across the country. And you can still call the rest of the world from Gmail at our insanely low rates.

To start making free calls through Gmail, you need to install the Chat Widget.
