Disney Plus is Now Live in France



After launching in several countries in Europe the Disney Plus service is live in France starting today.
Disney Plus or (Disney+) is the streaming service where you can watch virtually everything in the Star Wars, Marvel, National Geographic, The Simpsons, and Pixar universes. It also includes the entire Disney vault of content, too. And now the service is live in France.
This follows Disney Plus launching in other European countries a few weeks ago including the UK, Ireland, German, Italy, Spain, Australia, and Switzerland.

This announcement explains that subscribers can watch 16 Disney Plus Originals. With titles including The Mandalorian, The World According to Jeff Goldblum, Marvel’s Hero Project, and a lot more.
Disney Plus Launches in France starting today and everything available on the streaming service is ready to watch. There are a ton of series you can start bingeing now.

“France and The Walt Disney Company have enjoyed a special and successful relationship for decades,” said Kevin Mayer, Chairman of Walt Disney Direct-to-Consumer & International. “While we were happy to honor the request of the local government to delay our initial launch plans, we are delighted to now be able to bring Disney+ to French fans and families. With its unparalleled quality entertainment and optimistic storytelling, we are confident Disney+ will offer some much-needed joy during these unprecedented and challenging times.”
You can subscribe to the service via in-app purchase on the following platforms:
- Amazon (Fire TV devices, Fire TV Edition smart TVs, and Fire Tablets)
- Apple (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple TV)
- Google (Android phones, Android TV devices, Google Chromecast and Chromecast built-in devices)
- LG Smart TVs with webOS
- Microsoft (Xbox One)
- Roku (Roku® streaming players and Roku TV models)
- Samsung Smart TVs
- Sony / Sony Interactive Entertainment (Android-based Sony TVs and PlayStation® 4)

If you don’t have it yet, you can subscribe in France at €6.99 per month or €69.99 for an annual subscription.
The price is similar to U.S. pricing where Disney Plus is $7.99 per month or $79.99 per year. There’s also a Disney Plus bundle that includes ESPN+ and Hulu (With Ads) for $13.99 per month. You’ll save $5 per month off the price of buying the three services separately. Additionally, as of late 2020, customers in France can now gift a Disney Plus subscription if you already have an account.
