Amazon is announcing that its annual mega-sale, Amazon Prime Day, is running from June 21st through June 22nd.
Amazon is beginning its biggest sale of the year starting on June 21st with Prime Day. The retail giant is bringing its largest mega sale back to its normal summertime schedule after the company postponed the annual event last year due to the pandemic. The sale will take place starting on June 21st and stretch through June 22nd. Members of Amazon Prime will get access to more than 2 million deals across every category.
Amazon Prime Day Starts June 21st
The company first introduced its first Prime Day in 2015 to celebrate its 20th anniversary. This year Amazon is holding a special event from June 21st through the 22nd. This is when it offers crazy deals on thousands of products for Prime members. The deals go over and above their usual discount prices. It is a perfect time to get your holiday shopping done early.
Last year, Amazon was forced to delay Prime Day until mid-October due to pandemic-related uncertainty and strains on its fulfillment and logistics capacity. And it needs to be noted that it is still postponing Prime Day in India and Canada due to a worsening spread of Covid-19 in those countries.
