Motorola just announced they will credit you $100 if your Motorola mobile device doesn’t support the latest version Jelly Bean, V4.1. Under certain conditions of course, but it’s still a nice gesture. Here’s how it works.
To start, the offer is valid in the US only. Second, you have to own one of the models below:
- Droid 3
- Droid X2
- Atrix 4G
- Atrix 2
- Admiral
- Cliq 2
- Milestone 3
- Milestone X2
- Electrify
- Photon 4G
- XPRT
- Titanium
- Triumph
Because none of these devices is getting the update, you’ll be getting something in return. That something is $100 off a new Android smartphone.
The new smartphone must be one of these models:
- Atrix HD
- Droid RAZR M
- Droid RAZR HD
- Droid RAZR MAXX HD
- Electrify 2
- Photon Q
The process itself is quite easy, just head over to http://www.motorola.com/tradeup to begin the process. Very nice gesture compared to the HTC Desire HD update mess.
