If you’re a Nokia Windows Phone user and have been digging through task manager, you might be wondering what ADUService.exe is and if it’s safe.
Well, if you have the Lumia Software Recovery Tool installed (which is an optional installation), that’s what the process is known. It is not essential for Windows and causes relatively few problems (unless your phone is having issues recovering). The ADUService.exe file is located in a subfolder of C:\Program Files\Common Files.
In the End
To conclude, this process is an optional installation, and the process is safe and poses no threat to your computer. Of course, if you get rid of your Windows Phone or are having issues with the process, you can uninstall the Recovery Tool and reinstall or uninstall it completely.

Hi – tether dun = 0 worked on my LG G3 but I just changed to a Huwawei 10 plus android 7 and it doesn’t work any more. Any ideas please?
PdaNet still works but it’s a bit faffy and turning tether info off is a much nicer fix.
cheers
