How To Set a Default View in Google Calendar

Google Calendar is a great tool for keeping organized and you can access it anywhere you have a connection to the Internet. You can manually switch between weekly, daily or monthly view but there might be one you’d prefer as a default.

First, log in to your Google account and then Calendar. Click the gear icon on the upper right side of the screen and select Settings.

Now click the General tab and scroll down to Default View and choose Day, Week, Month or Custom.

Here I chose Custom View, so in the next dropdown I can set a range of dates.

After you’ve made your choices, make sure to save your settings at the bottom of the page.

That’s all there is to it. Now whenever you check your Google Calendar, it will always be in the view you set it for no matter what device you view it from.
