Do you only want to see posts from the accounts that you follow on Threads? Learn how to see your following feed on Instagram Threads here.

Threads became the fastest-growing online service of all time when it launched, with over 100 million users within a week. This was helped significantly by the fact that you could sign up quickly and easily using your Instagram account. Active user numbers have dropped significantly since then, but there are still tens of millions of people using the Twitter alternative.

Threads isn’t taking its users for granted either, with new features being added to address user complaints. One of those updates is the ability to see a feed that contains only posts from accounts that you’re following.

If you’re not a fan of the suggested content on Threads, then here’s how to see your following feed on Instagram Threads.

What Feeds are Available in Threads?

When Threads first launched, you couldn’t choose a feed—there was only one option available. That feed is a mix of posts from accounts that you follow, as well as posts that are recommended by the Threads algorithms based on the content that you follow. Users had issues with the fact that there was no way to only see posts from the accounts that they follow. It was also impossible to remove any posts suggested by Threads from your feeds.

Thankfully, unlike some other microblogging sites we could mention, Threads has listened. You now have a choice of two different feeds on Threads: for you and following.

For you is the same feed that has always been available, with a mix of posts from accounts you follow as well as suggested posts. These posts aren’t necessarily shown in chronological order.

The following feed only shows posts from accounts that you follow, with no content from any other accounts. The feed is also in chronological order, with the most recent posts are the top, regardless of which accounts they are from.

How to See Your Following Feed in Threads

Although Threads has listened and made it possible to see a feed that only shows posts from accounts you follow, they haven’t made it that easy to find.

Once you know where it is, however, you can find it in just a couple of taps. This is fortunate, as Threads defaults back to the for you feed every time you re-open the app.

To show your following feed on Threads:

  1. Open Threads.
  2. Tap the @ icon at the top of the screen.
