Outlook.com brought many improvements and allows users to create aliases accounts as well as add users to blocked lists to combat spam in your inbox. Another groovy feature is that you can view IM history in the web interface. It’s not enabled by default, but here’s how to set it up to view IM history.
First, login to your Outlook.com account.
Click on the gear icon and Select More Mail Settings.
Under Managing Your Account, select Messaging History.
Check Save Instant Messages and click Save.
This adds a new folder under Inbox. Do note that after you enable Messaging History, it will take some time to appear in your inbox after you close a chat. So, don’t worry if it doesn’t show up right away.

The “messaging history” in the options menu is not showing up in my outlook.com.
Do you know what may be happening??
Thanks!
