How-To Android App: Add Other Email Accounts

Recently Microsoft revamped the interface of its Android app. Adding multiple accounts is easy too, once you know where to look for the feature.

Microsoft revamped the interface of its Android app and, while it’s a pretty groovy way of keeping in touch with your and Microsoft email accounts, you can use it with multiple accounts (all from Microsoft’s service, of course). Here’s how. Android

The process is simple, once you find out where to start. In order to set up a second account in the Android app, just click the Inbox button on the top left side of the main screen, or you can swipe your finger right. This will get you to screen similar to the one below. Tap Add account. Android app add account

Then log in to your Microsoft Account like normal, or check out using Microsoft’s new Two-Step Verification method. Then you’ll need to set up account details and permissions in the next few screens. Android app add account sign in

That’s it! The account is now set up and, while you’ll get new message notifications, accessing it directly is done using the same swiping move to the right. Android account set up

Of course, you can always do the opposite, add your account to Android’s email client.

    What good is it if you can’t link it with your office 365 account
