Update for OneNote 2010 Fixes Crashes and Page Errors

OneNote 2010 - Update fixes xps crashes and position errors

Have you been experiencing problems with OneNote 2010 lately?  Whether it’s been crashing, positioning words incorrectly, or just running slow, Microsoft recently released a new update that should fix it.  This solution comes as a direct response from Microsoft to users that reported the issues on the OneNote help site.

As per the details from the KB article:

Issues that this update fixes
  • Assume that you insert a multipage .xps file into a notebook in Microsoft OneNote 2010. In this situation, words are positioned incorrectly on all pages except the first page. Additionally, when you search for a specific word in the file, an issue occurs in the highlighted search results.
  • OneNote 2010 crashes when you delete an .xps file that is being rendered.

Grab the update from one of the two links below.  If you are unsure whether you are running a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows, read this for help.
