Google Adds Drag and Drop Attachments Feature to GMAIL [groovyNews]

While I was out on vacation last week, Google added a cool feature to GMAIL which allows Firefox and Chrome users to Drag and Drop attachments onto emails rather than requiring them to click the attachment file link.

I tested it out, and it works for both Google Apps GMAIL users and regular GMAIL users.  You can also attach multiple files as well as single files. However, folders full of files does not work.

As mentioned earlier, the new feature only works for Chrome and Firefox users. So IE and Safari – sorry, you’re outta luck for now.
