Starting late summer 2010 Microsoft will be moving into 113,000 square feet at One Cambridge. They will take up six floors from the New England Development Center in Kendall Square and have signed a long-term lease with Boston Properties of Massachusetts.
The average office space rent in East Cambridge is approximately $62.44 per square foot. Cambridge Center is 2.7 million square feet and is comprised of class A offices, restaurants, research labs, hotel facilities, gardens and public parks and now – Microsoft – which will roughly take up half the building.
