If you use Microsoft’s Outlook.com app on your Android device, you’ll want to make sure your messages are secure. Here’s how to add a passcode to it for extra protection in case your device gets in the wrong hands.
Enable Outlook.com Application Lock on Android
Launch the Outlook.com app and go to Settings > General and check Enable Application Lock.
Then enter in your passcode twice and tap OK.
Note: Your passcode will need to be a minimum of eight characters and contain at least one number.
Now whenever you need to access your Outlook.com mail from the app, you’ll need to enter in your passcode. If you find it annoying having to enter the code all the time, you can easily toggle it off and on again when you think you’ll need it.

Curious if anybody else has had the same problem as me with this app. I have several Outlook.com emails and every few days I have to re-login because for some reason my passwords are not staying authenticated for this app. This happens with all of my outlook.com email accounts and it only happens in this app for Android. ANybody else notice that they have to login again very often, it is annoying since my passwords are super long and complex Lastpass generated that I do not memorize and I always have to go on my computer and go into lastpass to find out what each password is,

My apps are not downloading and my gmail is still out of sync. I’ve spent all afternoon following all
recommendations but never saw a turn on email sync
