Remember Windows Vista? Although not he favorite MS release of all time, when I flipped over to Windows 7 from Vista there was a feature I missed almost immediately – DreamScene. The DreamScene background was a very groovy feature which wasn’t included in Windows 7 for whatever reason. Although I found a work-around, I just noticed I never posted it here on groovyPost. So if your looking to add back the DreamScene feature to Windows 7, read on!
Step 1 – Downloading the Dream Scene Activator
Dream Scene Activator is a great application by door2windows, which you can easily grab for free from here. The application is great and requires no more than a few clicks to set up.
Step 2 – Configuring the Dream Scene Activator
Once you download the program, its icon should look like this:
Right-Click on it and select Run as Administrator…
…and then just slide the OFF button to ON
In order to get Dream Scene to work correctly, you need to restart your computer. A bit of an annoyance, but really not much of a drawback…
