The Aero Snap feature in Windows 7 and Windows 8 lets you snap open windows on the desktop to the edge of your screen. It’s handy if you want to snap windows to the left and right side of your screen to view them side-by-side. Or if you want to make a windows full screen you can drag it to the top. However, you might not like this default behavior annoying. Disabling it is easy – here’s how.
Disable Aero Snap in Windows
In Windows 7 or 8 open Control Panel and select Ease of Access Center.
Then click the “Make the Mouse Easier to Use” link.
Next check the “Prevent Windows from Being Automatically Arranged when Moved to the Edge of the Screen” box and click OK.
