Google Chrome lets you manage multiple profiles which can be really handy for testing or if your PC is used by multiple people. By default however, when you open Chrome it will launch the last profile that was used which can be a pain if you want to open a specific profile. Here’s how to create a profile shortcut which will allow you to launch Chrome using the profile of your choice.
Right click on your desktop and go to New >> Shortcut.
In location field, type the following path but replace “username” with your username, and add Profile 1 with the name of the profile and click Next.
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe” –profile-directory=”Profile 1”
Specify the name for the shortcut and click Finish.
Repeat the steps if you want to create multiple shortcuts.
