How to Change the News and Interests Language Feed on Windows 10

The News and Interests taskbar widget is coming to all versions of Windows 10. Since it’s a global release, here’s how to change the language for your region.

The News and Interest feature is coming to all modern and supported versions of Windows 10. The feature was tested with Insider builds for several months. And the company has decided to start rolling it out to all versions. It made the announcement it will start coming to all versions back in April. Since it will be available globally, you might want to change its default language in your region to something else. Here’s how you can change the language for the News and Interests feed for the taskbar widget.

Change the News and Interests Language Feed

To get started, open the News and Interests widget by clicking or hovering over the weather button on the taskbar.

Next, click on the Manage Interests link at the upper-right corner of the widget.

Manage interests

That will open Microsoft Edge to the “Discover Interests” settings section of the personalization section for the News and Interests widget.

From that page, click on the Experience Settings link at the top of the page. Then under the Language & content section, select the language you want to use for the feed from the dropdown menu.

I’ve changed this as suggested numerous times but it insists on still showing Swedish content. I’m currently travelling in Sweden but don’t read Swedish. I reset to Singapore (English) using both of the paths you describe but still it is in Swedish when I refresh.

Not working, it’s still english. I’ve changed weather and traffic to local and it works but neews are about royal child instead of President Duda’s blunders. English windows with Polish local settings.
