Microsoft recently released the new and improved email service Outlook.com. One of the features of Outlook.com is that you can easily add email IDs to a blocked list so you can block users who spam your inbox and send you useless junk.

It would be a lot easier if you could just right click the email, and add to blocked list, instead of having to type the addess. #justsaying

Agreed. But remember that Outlook.com is still in beta, so hopefully that feature will be added in the future.

I do not know if the English version is the same in my language (Portuguese), but you enter in the message, click the arrow clean and there is the option to block.

I have one problem with the new Outlook. When I am checking the block for deleting an item, the corresponding email message frequently opens

I hate this new set up. Slow and stupid.

For twenty years my email has been an alias named account. For some reason outlook or hotmail or Microsoft has seen fit to change my original setting so that now I am receiving emails to my real name. I can find no way in the unbelievable quagmire of nonsense regarding a million possible linked, so called, services to either contact hotmail about this unwanted and unethical invasion of privacy or any other way to re-establish my name and original privacy settings. It is good to read how simple the designers of this privacy invasion believe the whole thing is now but I doubt anyone else does. If someone has an answer that actually may help and without endless gobblygook incased in techno-babble please feel free to send me some advice about this.
