Add Background Color to Word Documents

Adding a background color to your word documents is a good way to attract reader’s attention. Here’s a quick guide to show you how.

Open any document on which you want to add a background color other than the default white one and click on Page Layout tab.

Under Page Background section, click on Page Color and select any color you want.

If you want, you can even add different effects to the background color as well like gradient, textures, patterns or even any picture from your computer. Just open Page Color option and click on Fill Effects.

Select the type of effect you want to add and click Ok.
