Automatically Crop Images with Croppola

There’s a plethora of image cropping tools online, but Croppola is different compared to others. It’s a free online utility that lets you crop images in a unique way. It intelligently figures out which parts of the image needs to be cropped out by using a smart algorithm.

To get started, open the Croppola homepage and click the Select Files to Upload button. You can upload a single file or multiple files that need cropping.

Select the file you want to upload to Croppola and it will begin the upload process.

Now, select the aspect ratio you want to use from list of options. By default, it automatically crops the photos keeping the most important parts. Another option is square crop which is great for avatars or images for Instagram and other similar sites. If you want to change the aspect ratio, select the settings you want and click on Recompute Crops button.

It will crop the image and display a preview of the cropped selection. You can also manually select and drag the areas you want cropped. Then, download the images to your computer in a zip file.

If you’re worried about privacy of the photos you upload, you should know that the service deletes everything (original and cropped image) that is older than 30 mins.
