Spam ahhhh, the Falvor!

When we previously talked about your Privacy on Facebook, things didn’t look good. Now Facebook is taking it down another notch. With the current communication system in Facebook you’ll receive app alerts through the red-flag notification button at the bottom-right of your page. With a new update coming from Facebook, they plans to instead force developers to demand your email address. Yeah… SUPER!

image Out with the old and in with the new I’ve always said! So, now that Microsoft Security Essentials is the dominant (and free) new security suite for Windows, it’s time for OneCare to retire. MrGroove said this was going to happen so hopefully no one is surprised? Anyway, I think this is good news since it means Microsoft is picking up some of Google’s habits and offering free software.

imageEver since the introduction of LCD monitors, screen sizes have been getting bigger and bigger. When I’m working on a 26” Monitor in full screen mode, the last thing I want to do while painting something in Photoshop is to have to scroll all the way across it just to select a new color. Besides, if you’re a ‘Hotkey Master’, you can disable your toolbars entirely and make your setup look pro, but this is impossible without a hotkey to open the color picker! Good news, I found a fix!
