In addition to the new Podcast, we’ve had a very busy week at groovyPost.com. Brian Burgess started the week by breaking the news that Windows 8 Release Preview is Now Available for Download. What used to be called “Release Candidate” is now called Release Preview apparently in Redmond-ese. What this tells us is the Windows 8 is apparently on track for a Q4 release for the holidays. We will of course keep all you groovyReaders updated as it draws closer as well as all the groovy new Windows 8 new features and tips.
Speaking of new Windows 8 tips, be sure to checkout another post from Brian on how to create a Windows 8 Metro Shutdown Tile which simplifies shutting down the new OS. I wish this wasn’t required from a new OS but oh well…
There is lots of new eye candy in the new Windows 8 Release Preview. Brian tells us about the huge step Microsoft has made with the updated Windows 8 Metro Apps Feature.
