In a week notable for a number of big product launches, we had lots of news to cover.  eBook readers, music services, and iTunes match, oh my!  Lets jump right into it.

Last week we reported on the announcement of the new Nook tablet, and this week the Kindle Fire shipped, arriving a day earlier than promised.

Eric Mack discusses the Fire as well as other news in his Ranting Roundup.  Eric rants daily for groovyPost, and this week also takes aim at iTunes Match and lots of other topics.

Steve Krause reported on Wednesday Google finally got it right with its native iOS Gmail App. Although its obvious the app is far from perfect, Google promises to update the app quickly over the next few weeks. Steve ran into notification issues with it but those were solved quickly.
