Amazon is Giving Away 10 Great Android Apps for Free [Expired]

image

Update: No longer valid, this was a 1-day deal only

Remember how Amazon gives away a free paid app every day in its Android app store? This time around it’s giving away 10 free apps at once in what it is calling its Greatest Hits collection. From all the apps on the list 9/10 of them are rated with 4 stars or better and are hugely popular among users. Even if you don’t plan on using them, now is a good time to scoop up some groovy app titles and add them to your Amazon account for possible future use. Up for free are:

  • Angry Birds (ad-free)
  • SwiftKey
  • Drawing Pad
  • CalenGoo
  • Shazam
  • PAC-MAN HD
  • World of Goo
  • Sprinkle
  • Paper Camera
  • Jamie’s 20 minute meals

The quickest way to add all of these apps to your Amazon account is to simply use the 1-click order feature from your desktop’s web browser.

If you have the Amazon Appstore installed on your Android device you’ll find the Free App of the Day Greatest Hits at the top of the app on the featured slider. Tap the option on the featured slider to be taken to a list with in-app links of all of the games. Again, you don’t have to install the apps to add them to your account, you can just add them by ordering them (for free).

I was able to snag these last night I think minutes before the deal ended. I dunno, the apps are alright, probably not missing out on much here folks. But of course free is always good. And I think that Jamie Oliver app is normally like $7
