When Google wave launched (May of last year) it was one of the most incredibly hyped products to hit the technology scene in years. That hype started when Vic Gundotra (Google VP of Engineering) showcased the new platform at the Google IO conference. If your a systems Admin and you want to evaluate Windows 7 before you begin rolling it out to your customers, Microsoft has made it easy for you by providing pre-configured VHD files (virtual hard disk) already setup and ready for import into Microsoft’s new Server 2008 Hyper-V Virtual Server Platform / Hypervisor. The Windows 7 VM Image has a 90 day evaluation time bomb but, that should be plenty of time to play around and get prepare with your GPO’s and other testing with your BUIT apps. Let’s take a look.

Windows Live SkyDrive has 25 GB of free online storage space. In order to make great use of that space you need an easy way to access it. Using a free application called Gladinet, you can easily map SkyDrive to a drive letter on your computer to allow you to browse it as if it was physically attached.
