Outlook 2007 provides access to our email, calendars, and contacts. But, what many people overlook however is how great of an RSS feed reader Outlook 2007 is.

How To Read RSS Feeds in Outlook 2007
1. Click the Tools menu, on the drop-down Click Account Settings…

2. Click the RSS Feeds tab, and then Click New…

3. On the New RSS Feed window, Type RSS URL that you would like to add. Click Add to continue.

4. This next window will give you customization options for your feed, you’ll be fine leaving everything at default if you don’t feel like messing with this. Click OK to continue.

All done!
Now you can easily view your RSS Feed by Clicking on the RSS folder under the All Mail Items list. Optionally, you can continue adding more feeds to Outlook quickly by Right-Clicking RSS and then Clicking Add a New RSS Feed…

I prefer Google Reader personally just because my account stays with me and I don’t need to clutter up outlook.
