Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Anti-Virus Software

As I reported earlier, we knew the release of Microsoft’s Free Anti-Virus Software called Microsoft Security Essentials was just days away and sure enough, you can now download the FULL Released Version from their website now!

The Final version looks pretty much the same as it did back in August when I did a so I won’t spend anytime talking about the features or showing screenshots of the product.

I really like how easy Microsoft Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Anti-Virus Software Download Pagemade the Download and Install for this app.  IE users only need to Click the Download Now Button and the site will scan for the correct version of the Anti-Virus software and present it for download.  NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED or other nonsense.

Firefox users however will be prompted to select Language and Operating System

The Free Anti-Virus software is available for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 (of course).  64-bit (x64) versions are also available.  VERY GROOVY INDEED!
