Google Maps received another update today (second update this week). Users can now add Real Estate listings to any map by Clicking the More button on the Top right of any map and selecting the Real Restate Layer (see screenshot below).
Once the Real Estate listings are added, you can refine your search from the panel on the left using criteria such as Rental Vs. For Sale, Foreclosures, Number of Bedrooms etc…
Although Google Maps displayed real estate listings since July, in the past you need to start your search from maps.google.com/realestate or http://maps.google.com.au/help/maps/realestate/ which was simple enough however not as convienient as just clicking the More button and adding the Real Estate layer to the map your already looking at. Very Cool Upgrade!
I can already tell this is going to be a huge time waster for me… Anyone want to go in on a nice old Country home? I’ve always wanted to own a home out in the Country with Acreage on the Isle of Man!
