I'm looking for info a recommendation.
thanks groovy guys!

A .txt file ehh.... Well, the GOOD news is there's nowhere to go but UP in regards to security!!!!
#1 - Excel is what I use for the home. It's simple, and secure if you do it right. Take a look at
THIS article here on the Forum for more details as well as links to the How-To Tutorials on groovyPost.com. Granted, I know a few people might not agree with me on that but, Excel "In my honest opinion" is actually a pretty good place to store passwords. The KEY is you need to do it correctly and use a LONG pass phrase for a PW.
#2 - In a Corporate Environment, I use 2 different products. Both can be used at the home as well. Both are VERY secure and highly recommended in the Industry.

Password Safe2 -
Password CorralBoth products are FREE and VERY secure. I would highly recommend them for the Home of Work environment. If you were to ask me to choose, I would go with Password Safe because it seems to be updated more frequently AND, I like the features (one of which reminds you when it's time to change a password).
Take a look and let us know what you do.
Be safe!
