Hey Groove..

In Microsoft outlook 2007 I'm not able to go the links in the email.
On a different computer i'm able to go through.
Could you please tell me where should i change the settings.

It must be a security issue in Outlook that's not configured the same as your other PC. That's probably a good thing.

I'll look around in Outlook to see if I can find the security setting and post back here if I find it.

I think it might be that your email is converted to plain text??? This would kill your ability to open links obviously.

Click Tools, Trust Center. Click Email Security Tab on the Left. Uncheck box "Read all standard mail in plain text" under the heading of Read as Plain Text.

It could also be your Junk Mail Filter

Click Actions, Junk Email, Junk Email Options

That will take you to the Options menu for Junk Email:

And my problem was solved by a Virus scan..

A virus scan? How did it fix the problem?

I've seen malware out there that will make it so you're unable to open links in any program except for IE, but most of the time if that happens your computer has already been hijacked by malware and you probably have trouble surfing the internet anyways.
That's my guess, either that or it was a virus scanner preventing e-mail links from opening.

This is what happened.
A malware was found on a Virus scan and by deleting it things started working normally.

Sweet! That's a freaky one. I would think a virus would ALLOW you to have hotlinks in email not the other way around. Either way, good head up dude. thnx!!!
