Akismet Spam Protection for WordPress and phpBB

When I first launched the new groovyPost.com I figured I was going to have the same problems I’ve had with other sites I built using phpBB. When I say problems, I mean post and comment SPAM. I’m happy to say the fears were for nothing.
The nice built-in process for handling SPAM in WordPress is called AKISMET. It took just 5 minutes to setup and tada, all SPAM blocked. It was a nice bonus when I found a plugin for phpBB as well. Very nice indeed!
